SAVING HISTORY.
SERVING THE COMMUNITY.

The Oare Rover Foundation is a not-for-profit on a mission to establish a national network of historical sites open to communities across America.

let’s PRESERVE THE PAST TO SHAPE THE FUTURE

Across the nation, communities are losing their connection to the past as historical places fade away – whether they’re abandoned and left to the elements or demolished to make way for new construction. But it’s not too late for us to save America’s history. Together, we can transform historical places across the country into vibrant community hubs where we’ll celebrate culture, create jobs, and preserve the stories that shaped our great nation for generations to come.

it all started in greenville

What began as one family’s search for a home outside the city became a mission to preserve American history.

IT’S NOT TOO LATE.

TOGETHER, WE CAN SAVE AMERICA’S HISTORY.

At its best, preservation engages the past in a conversation with the present over a mutual concern for the future.
